The Alaska COMMS site and database was created to house statewide community data collected by the State of Alaska - Department of Health and Social Services relating to essential public safety community services. Surveys were sent out to 280 communities across the state and categories of surveys included: Hospitals, Clinics, Small Clinics, Air Medical Services, Fire/EMS, Law Enforcement, VPSO, Comm.
